Re: FPC in Fl Studio
FPC (Fruity Pad Controller) is a software plugin similar to the hardware Akai MPC™ unit, coded & optimized for the FL Studio platform. FPC is a self-contained multi-layer/velocity drum machine that makes it easy to create, edit and swap drum kits on the fly. FPC supports 16 multi-layered patches...

Re: 2 fl8 questions (lfo related, and envelope related)
In case if you didn't know FL has a built in LFO in the event editor. If you right click on what you want to control then edit events, ALT+O or tools LFO you can make your own LFO's in the automation. You might have to tweak it a bit depending on the wave sharp you want but its still quick and easy.

Re: FL timestretching
The stretch algorithm does not work in real-time. IE you can not automate it.
However you can open up Edison on its mixer channel and record it as you tweak it in real time and then save it. That is the easiest way that I know how to do it with native FL plug ins.

Re: SYTRUS IS FUCKING HUGE!
I also Love Sytrus. It really is a great snyth. I use it for most of my Bass and Pads sounds but have yet to really find a limit to what it can do. Oversampling Factor - Enables oversampling in order to increase the accuracy of the Sytrus rendering engine and to reduce aliasing. It is recommended to...

Re: FL Studio owners: I challenge you
What is the highest version of FL that we can use? Or that the judge will be using?
I ask because Image Line just released RC9.1 on April 15th and i have already set it up. It has some great updates and those of you who don't mind using RC should check it out.

Re: best way to slice loops together in fl?
Everyone seems to forget about Direct Wave. It is a great sampler for cutting up different loops and break beats.
Renoise is a great program but when I'm working in FL i find that the mix between Direct Wave and SliceX gives you as much control over loops as Renoise does

Re: quick mixing question regarding FL studio
As grooki said read up on gain structure. It's really useful. In Fl there are different ways to control the volume. If your using a sample for say a kick drum then you want to adjust the Volume on the Channel window. It's also the same knob that is beside the channel button on the Step sequencer. Th...

Re: FL FPC
I've used it for some time now and love it. One thing that I like to do is to use the envelope so that it has no release. This way I if I want a sound to stop (ie not play the whole sound) I just drew the length of it in the piano roll. Its almost the same thing as mute groups which are just as usef...

I love the online help from from Fl Studio's website. It has some great info in it. Now you didn't say which version of FL you are using or your sound card which would help. This was taken from FL's online help file which is be found here http://flstudio.image-line.com/help/ "The problem: If yo...

Re: The FL Studio Q&A Thread
Are you talking about songs that you made on your laptop and moved over to your new computer? If so, did you zip the files from FLS itself by file, export, zipped loop package on your laptop then move the zip files to your new pc and open them in FLS? If so that will save all of your samples in the ...

Re: TimeStretching in FL 8
The only way I can think of doing it is to load the sample into Direct Wave. Load it as many times as you wish to timestretch it. Then use drum mapping. Select the first one and in the Zone window go to Time and set it to your wishes. Repeat as many times as you wish for each sample you loaded. Be s...

Ldizzy you said peak controller which is not the same as the Fruity Limiter. Those are two different plug ins. The Peak Controller is the older of the two while Fruity Limiter is newer and which FL9 they added built in side chaining with it. Taken from the online help file from the Fruity Limiter, &...

Re: The FL Studio Q&A Thread
You could also use the Fruity Limiter as it was made with side chaining in mind.
Look up the limiter here to see more about it.

help with Albino 3 Mod matrix
I can't seem to figure this out if its even possible. In the mod matrix I'm using Velocity as the source to control the LFO speed. That works fine however if i try to use glide when the notes overlap it doesn't read the velocity. IE it doesn't change speed of the LFO. Is there a setting I'm missing ...

No, you went for safe and verify (unsafe!) you should have done fast scan (recommend). I forget why Gol put scan and verify as an option but don't use it as that will happen to you.
As a guide line don't use the one that says unsafe after it lol

Re: Splitting freq's in Fl
Not true. Taken from FL's help file. Each mixer channel has this. Plugin Delay Compensation - PDC PDC is required when Effects plugins introduce processing delays between their input and output sound OR Instrument plugins are slow to respond to note input. Delay Pre/Post - Left-click this switch to ...
