Re: How to make McMash Clan's synth
It's a sound called Hoover or Mentasm, I think you can find something similar in the Sylenth's preset bank.

Re: Renoise - what makes it so special?
yep, workflow and sample manipulation ! It's a good tool if you like to work fast, with keybord and if you hate zooming/unzooming all the time. With Renoise you can also work at insane BPM or strange signature (11/4 or what you want). Its also interesting to see all keys of melodic part at the same ...

Re: Bouncing out tracks with reverb
Bounce wet and dry in 2 different tracks.
With that you can make what you want like editing reverb tails or sidechain the reverb bounce with the dry track.

Re: Help w/ Ambient/Spacey Noises
You can make some low drones with pitched down samples (choir, cellio, ..).
Delay, Reverb, auto-pan, bandpassed white noise, parallel notch filters, granular stuff ...
Sometime it's sounds nice when you have different processing on the dry sound and the wet sound full of reverb.

http://overclockheadz.net/2methylbulbe1ol/img/golem/cover_golem_02_300px.jpg With his new EP on OverClockHeadz Rec., 2methylBulbe1ol dives deeper into his approach of dubstep, a blend of metallic heaviness, mechanic pianos’ dull melancholia and the humming of sub-bass reminiscing the hyper technolo...

Re: Tips for fixing the phasing problem in Massive between 2
It's a good tip, but it does make you lose any stereo spreading you've done.
