Re: FINISHED TRACKS FOR AUGUST, 2010
@ homage sub urban - im feelin the intro, and the little instrument stab you throw in here an there. the drop is fucking evil, some dark shit going down here, the drums are sounding fucking tight aswell. again the eeriness (sp) on the breakdown sets up the second drop noycely. one of the hi hats in...

Thanks []^_^[] Nice track man, you got a lot of nice sounds going here, the drum pattern is tight. I like the synth you used for your wobble however I don...

Re: WORKS IN PROGRESS FOR AUGUST, 2010
This is my first dubstep attempt, and obviously being a complete and total noob, I've had to deal with garageband's problems as well as the musical typing. I can see that it needs a 'proper' drop, but lacking LFO and decent beat MIDIs, that won't really happen. btw, sorry about not providing feedba...

Re: Record Shops in Los Angeles?
Amoeba in hollywood is dope and Grooveriders in the valley. I don't use vinyl but I know Amoeba's CD dubstep collection is pretty damn limited. Amoeba doesnt have shit for dubstep cd's, they had SOME but very limited dnb cd selection, another reason for this is (most) dubstep isnt released on CD. T...

Re: Record Shops in Los Angeles?
Or any good (US) online stores for buying vinyl? None of the shops in my area have dubstep/dnb... I have used juno but with shipping it costs me almost $20 to buy a $9 dubplate. Someone help me out! If you're interested in the correct terminology, and not sounding dumb, you'll be interested in the ...

Skream & Murs Collab?
Other night at the roxy i heard 12th planet drop skream track with murs rapping over it. (I can only assume it was them as murs kept singing "murs & skream yadda yadda etc...") Anyway this track was AMAZING. No one I've talked to knows the track or has ever heard it. Most likely unrele...

Re: Native Instruments "Massive Threat" Instrument for "Dubstep"
some of you guys laugh, but this product is slowly becoming the industry standard. Remember, good software wont make a bad producer good, but it will make a good producer better. Its not the sword its the hand that yealds it... This is not a sample pack, it is a synth designer. Sure, there are hundr...

http://soundcloud.com/j-one/let-go Subby one. Like it so far man! Really nice and easy to listen to. As far as feedback goes i would raise the bass just a hair, not quite hitting my headphones the way it should (bass sounds super clean i think if you but half a db more it would be right where it ne...
