3 brand new tings.

Post by pete_bubonic » Thu May 03, 2007 7:57 pm

- Added my Erstwhile Riddim remix (original by Peverelist) to virb now :D
- Added Armour feat. Ben Blackmore - rolling breakstep I guess!
- Added Calles Traseras feat. Ben Blackmore - housey spanish vibe.

I sent out a new demo cd to a few people got some good constructive feedback, in my mind all these tune are playable/enjoyable but only a few actually get played (one got signed, I think :6:). But I need the words of the forum to see whether I should keep sending them to people, so please have a listen, say what you think, if you like em, I'll send em over no worries, if not, HELP ME!!!!! :D

victory
sensei
sagrada
SMERINS!!! (this is still your best track in my opinion)
daigoro
taiko riddim

all of these have been in my playlists...

but still if you get back to smerins and (blasphemous, I know) pitch it to about 135 you got yourself a sure fire H.I.T.

I'm definitely liking SureSkank.

Those drums are crisp.

I'd definitely be interested in hearing anything you do in a more breaks influenced style.

But I've sworn off playing tracks with references to Jah so Victory probably not.

Speaking of which.....Last Saloon Swagger has been getting the power-rinse ever since i've received the tune. Toronto is getting the sounds of the Wild Wild West on that one tonight.

Monster tune !!!

You're a good man Peter.

Thunder was released on Immerse Records - www.immerserecords.com
Sagrada feat Ben Blackmore is coming Inprint - www.myspace.com/inprintinp

And I think Victory is coming out in the summer. And joe, I have done some subtle tweaks to Last Saloon Swagger to make it sound a bit sharper , I'll pm the link for you mate!

I would definitely play these tunes out. You bring a totally unique flavor to your tunes. I haven't quite heard anything like it to date. Lil bit loungey, lil bit jazzy, a whole lot of organic sounds, and some serious fucking sub weight in those bad boys.

if you're passing along 320s i'd fully dig 'em. These are some seriously impressive tunes. And like i said, fully unique flavors.
