When NOTHING was forthcoming Swamp 81.
I liked dubstep longggg before I knew what dubstep was haha. I remember being 10/11, and my this kid who lived near my mate was showing us all these El-B tunes. When I heard "Express" again when the Roots of El-B came out, I was like, shiiiiit I remember this, was convinced it must've been in the charts at some point

Sparked my love of El-B again. When it actually was callled dubstep though, I'd heard stuff like Burial - Burial when it came out and was like

and I'd heard a few bits like Qawwali, Haunted, etc. and I thought they were sick but I wouldn't say I followed it as such. Was too busy being majorly into shoegaze (still am tbh), so when people said to me (around 2007/08) "do you listen to dubstep?", I'd be like "what's that?" and they'd say like, Nero, Chase & Status etc., so I'd be like "nahh, I don't then"
Then I blazed up zoot in Vauxhall Colosseum and then shot someone for a bassline.
