The Dubstep Dream- "The Dream" vs. Dubstep Mash-Up

Post by sofa_king » Fri Jul 10, 2009 4:10 pm

Hello Forumers.
This is an experiment.
I'm pretty sure there's nothing like it on this board (in the world?). It's a 47:00 mix with back-to-back mash-ups of songs from the hip-hop artist "The Dream" (Starkey knows what I'm talking bout) mixed with various Dubstep beats. The R&B and dubstep tracks are mixed TOGETHER, mash-up style, with some really interesting results. If you have an open mind and don't cringe at the word "Shawty," I hope you check this out. It was fun to make and it's a great listen.

I'm digging it. We're on a similar wavelength.

Although, I have to say, I usually don't like THE DREAM, but this is tight.

YES!
Mission accomplished.
This was definitely inspired by Seclusiasis Radio, the only show with enough balls to play "Fancy".

Big up to Starkey for the hottest hip-hop remixes ever - still dying for a copy of the elusive Hair Braider.
