SHOPS IN LONDON

Post by MARCHMELLOW » Tue Jul 24, 2007 2:56 pm

EZ guys and gals

I live down in Brighton, not many places to buy Dubstep vinyl down here.

Its me ladies birthday next Saturday, so i thought i'd kill two birds with one stone and take her shopping in london, with a slight de-tour to some record shops to stock up! smacked it with that idea, she is well happy!

anyways.. can people point me in the right direction of some good stores for dubstep?

Cheers for the info

You'll find some on here (though this is an online list):

There are a couple of places in brighton - check Rounder Records for starters :)

Sister Rays on Berwick Street, which is just off Oxford Street (and 5
mins from Oxford Circus station). There are a few other good shops
down there including Blackmarket. So yeah, go to Berwick Street ;)

Berwick Street it is then!

Yean been to Rounder in brighton, its ok, but theres a better shop in kensington gardens, above a clothes shop, can't for the life of me remember the name of it, but has a pretty good selection-and the guy in there is a lot friendlier.

Try BM soho at 25 D'arblay street or Phonica @ 51 Poland st. I would leave BM soho as last shop to visit as this is probably the most expensive store in London town!!!

They still do all sorts of electronic music then? that's nice to know, especially cuz when it was Selectadisc and was about to get sold to Sister Ray the kids working there told me they'd be slashing all the electronic stuff and staying mostly with rock and indie...

Sister Ray is great, for my reckoning the best dubstep store in London... Best selection and best prices... But everyone seems to go to Blackmarket on here... I generally find its cheaper to buy online that at Blackmarket where its just so expensive.
