Samurai Champloo remix by Vespa

Post by vespa » Sun Feb 25, 2007 3:52 am

I've had this mix concept in my head for a while now, and I put it together recently. It's a remix of the Fat Jon track "Mystline" from the awesome anime series Samurai Champloo.

Stream it or download it here:

Bad boy remix. Was just saying to a mate, love the original but a nice subtle beat would be perfect.

Nailed it!

I met Fat Jon in Japan in summer of 2006, proper safe bloke, he knew about dubstep and was generally feelin what uk was doin. He said that doing the Samurai Champloo soundtrack was one of the highlights of his career and that he got loadsa sick stuff for doing it like one of a kind animation cells.
Slothrop wrote:well, the bass is interesting but the post-hegemoniacal rhythmic interventionism of the cowbell part is overly redolent of paleospheric neo-step
