Fair play to Pinch... his tunes vary between 120-170. Don't see anyone else pushing the boundaries like that

Wait til you hear the album.... i tell ya, my god! :o

if variations in bpm is what you're looking for, i'd recommend moby.

Cave Dream is pretty sick too.

the part that comes in right before the drop @ 30 secs is fantastic.

yeah i love that! its a pretty dnbish tempo but the bassline and the vibes of the tunes are clearly dubstep :) would also fit nicely in a dnb set for sure.
well i don't think tempo variation makes a tune good, and in fact i like dubstep for its moderate tempo range (no matter if minimal halfstep or upbeat garagey beats or whatever). but thats just a good tune... i dont care about the tempo... just call it dnb when it bothers you.. but then it's just a good dnb tune! doesn't make any difference

A few d'n'b peeps have been producing more sparce beats recently and I can see drum and bass getting a lot more interesting because of it. Would like to see more dubstep producers experimenting with that tempo as well.
