Burial in The Guardians 1000 albums to hear before you die

Post by roo » Sat Nov 17, 2007 12:30 pm

Burial's self-titled album made it into The Guardian's 1000 albums to hear before you die.
It's a 5 part supplement starting today covering artists from A-C. you can see it online here:

http://music.guardian.co.uk/1000albums

also if you buy the paper you'll see his album features prominently on the front cover of the supplement.

yeh mate i nearly mentioned this in my first post but when you read their criteria for making the list i guess it makes sense to choose electric circus.
although water for chocolate is ridiculously good, it would have been the obvious choice

I think I was past the thousand albums mark by some point in the mid '90s. But I'm probably older than most of the people here and I've had more time to build up the collection.

I wonder what the 'unthinking person's' post clubbing track is?

Cannibal Corpse's 'Meat Hook Sodomy'?

Answers on a postcard please.
