Hey,
Got a new one down.
EDIT: new link

i've got the quality on this dist at 96. drop me for a line if you're looking for a copy to play out and i'll definately link it up. also got the dist list working so 320 out to all those on the inside shortly. please comments still apprecitated.
let me know what you think. I havn't had a chance to mix down the low end on a sub yet so I've got no idea what that saturadet sub sounds like. it's a really messy dirty instrument and kindof does what it wants some times so I don't know if it's falling off of the beat and shit.
please let me know what you think guys! i banged this out in one sitting. literally didn't move until it was done 6 hrs or so from start to finish.
get at me for a 320

thanks horse.horse wrote:love the vibe of this one
definitely one for the sitting in a dark room smoking heads
good contrast between the lush pads and delicate melodic elements and the moody heaviness of the rest.
the reverb seems to stretch on forever!
i've started eqing the verbs. I don't know why i never did this - it's so logical - it's another element of the track.

thanks for supporting.
i'll keep em coming.
does anyone know how to approach writing lyrics? I'm putting together a makeshift vocal booth, and have some lovely talent, a tune ready for lyrics, completely with a melody worked out, but I have no idea how to approach lyrics. that's new territory.
also any tips you can give on working with a vocalist during a session is appreciated. this is totally green, so any advice you can give is appreciated. i'll also start a thread in the production forum.
thanks
