Hmm, sounds like a super processed reese i.e detuned saw waves, distorted, eq, compress, etc. Then resample it and repeat. Then run through kontakt or something like that, set the filter the a downwards sawtooth, assign to lfo and add more distortion effects whatever till it sounds good.
All about resampling really

2 saw waves, one slightly detuned, add some distortion or saturation and some chorus or phaser to beef it upDREADNORT wrote:so i still have no luck with this sound
could anybody show me how i would get this sound using massive
i would really apreciate it guys
render a long c1 or a full key spectrum of notes you wanna play to audio
split pre fader to separate groups one low cut next bandpass last hi pass (low, mid, and high) make low channel mono, others stereo
add a bit of saturation, distortion and some modulating filters on each channel, but leave stereo fxs off low channel
resample and add more fx if needed depending how twisty you wanna get
when ready route low, mid, and high group to another group and whack a compressor on it and record line on that then get rid of all the old ones
hope that makes sense to ya

this sound is all about osc sync and flange. use a synth that has sync and then apply a env to the pitch of the sync'd osc to get that harmonic sweeping effect. then automate the shit out of the env settings and the octave and tuning of the sync'd osc. Not much filter mod, but a fair amount of res, maybe at the 50% mark. then toss a heavy flanger or two over the whole mess.
