TERMINATOR!!!

Post by tathagata » Fri Jun 05, 2009 10:21 pm

Anyone seen the new Terminator film?
The completely amazing bass sound towards the start of the film that the big machine makes when it's stealing people is one of the best things I've ever heard.
Anyone fancy having a go at replicating it? I'd host my attempt but don't know where to.

A sound-effect the machine was making. I've used a sample of an electric bass guitar sliding a note down, added a little bit of overdrive and slowed it down with the Akaizer plug-in, does the job!

I agree! But half way through where the even bigger walkin machine that's tearin up that place in the desert just before the exploding gas tanker... That sounds awsome! Especially stoned at the front row in a cinema!!!

I too have the cursed ear that thinks wow! That sounds awsome, wonder how to make that! And put it in music!

Similar too war of the worlds machies!
