what program are you using? try to separate your cymbals/hats into separate channels, solo them, and cut out any frequency that isnt right where it peaks. then take the peaks down a bit too, to make them fit in the mix better. create more bass synths similar to the original, and drag your same bassl...

this is right up my alley. id play this out.

dubstep is easy to mix. program a set where you know exactly where to drop each track on the previous track. if you program properly, its actually hard to screw it up. dont have 2 kicks or snares overlapping. thats where most djs fuck up.
