I've noticed every now and then a percussion sample comes up at the wrong pitch. Just a matter of clicking the sample in the step sequencer, click "INS" then right click on C5 on the keyboard that comes up at the bottom. Unless that's what you meant by not resetting the keynotes? Or we're ...

Doesn't work for me at all. I get well too lazy and end up throwing anything i can over a 16 bar loop with no effort whatsoever, nodding my head for a good few hours. Go to sleep. Wake up next day and listen to the biggest load of shit ive ever "produced"

busses, good frequency cutting, arrangement and compression. Also, using the same scale helps ;) This. Also using a send for your reverb helps.
