Buy reaktor or buy individual soft synths?
After getting to grips with logics soft synths ive grown bored and am thinking in investing in new synths. Should i buy reaktor that has everything a producer could dream of, or buy 1 soft synth at a time a learn it inside out? Im finding that the es2 isnt the most intuitive synth to use ...

Where to D/L classic drum machines in exs24 format?
I was watching the xample and lomax CM tutorial the other day and heard them say they had a massive collection of vintage drum machines in their sample library (Old linn drums/727s etc). Anyone know if there are any sites online where you can download them (preferably free) and in exs24 format?

Anyone know what breaks zomby uses?
Gone through a few jungle breaks sites looking for ones that sound similar to what zomby uses but with no luck. Anyone know?
Also what processing do you think he uses on them? Im assuming their pitched slightly up or down (depending on the track) with subtle hi pass eq,agree?

Re: Using a hardware drum machine to input midi
Coming from fl studio i guess im kinda used to step sequencers for drum programming. Ive been looking for a step sequencer plugin for logic but to no avail. Are midi keyboards commonly used to input drums? What do you guys use?

Using a hardware drum machine to input midi
Would it be possible for me to buy a tr 505 and use the step sequencer to input midi in logic? I really hate the fact i have to draw in all my percussion in the piano roll.
Thanks

Re: Where to find '92 hardcore synth stabs samples
Haha it did cross my mind but i didnt think the bit depth and sample rate would be good enough to be used in a production. You think it would be ok?

Where to find '92 hardcore synth stabs samples
Anyone know where i could get the old techno/hardcore synth stab samples from?
Thats the kind of thing i want to go for. Seeing as i dont have any vst's synthesizing them will be out of the question.
Thanks

Producing while travelling?
Ive found alot of spare time since ive been travelling so ive decided to buy a book on logic (the david nahmani one) and take my production learning a bit more serious compared to the aimiessly turning knobs approach i have been taking in the past. Anyone done this before? Am i likely to encounter ...

Technics gone, Cutting houses not far behind?
With the news of technics ceasing production, does that spell the end for cutting houses? Its always been a dream of mine to make a tune that im happy enough to cut to dub, but thats looking increasingly unlikely with the digital medium becoming the standard. Your thoughts?
