Put saturation on your bass, and with the beats obviously get the original sound of kicks, snares etc. to sound as good as possible without any plugins then process them using eq's and compression, i also recommend ableton 8 suite highly as you can do everything with ease.

You need to sort your sample out as it goes out of time I recommend using Ableton 8 and don't use shitty loops for your beats i.e. Breakstarr Loop, too obvious when a fellow producer hears your track.

Right first of all Reason isnt ideal for Acapellas because there is no real way of adjusting the accapella to fit your track BUT if your acapella is at the right tempo and all the samples are organised then you can use the NN19 or NNXT to load your sample and lay it in as a note in the sequencer ...
