Something I learnt a while ago which wasnt mentioned here.
If you want to raise the overall presence/volume of your sub bass without boosting your levels, turn your resonance about half way up and then from 0 very slowly turn up the frequency. At a certain point your sub bass will suddenly sound a ...

I would do it in two sections, I use reason so id use thor but im sure you could do it with anything: Osc 1 for a deep low end, so a sine wave, lo pass filter cut it really low around 140 or below(ish), add a small amount of distortion, id use the built in wave shaper set to hard clip with a tiny ...

anything it sounds like that you could post up? helps to have something to aim for

i would do it with maelstrom:

it's got some really cool mod shapes to muck about with the one you want is the one that looks like this [-]_ (ish)

hook up the mod cv out to whatever instrument you want to use,
