I would do it in two sections, I use reason so id use thor but im sure you could do it with anything: Osc 1 for a deep low end, so a sine wave, lo pass filter cut it really low around 140 or below(ish), add a small amount of distortion, id use the built in wave shaper set to hard clip with a tiny ...

i would do it with maelstrom:
it's got some really cool mod shapes to muck about with the one you want is the one that looks like this [-]_ (ish)
