Thanks, will look into that bass thing, its not sidechained, but there's a few synths with different lfo's and automation, which may be cancelling out the bass in places or something. not sure what you mean buy the crunchy snare, u mean the main snare, or the ones hitting syncopated on 2 and 4?

I'd say it needs more beats but as its in progress im guessing u were already planning to do that, I think the kick drum should not be a bass tom as it outways the bassline 2 much and also its not the same notes as the bass so it sort of clashes, maybe just a electronic drum kick instead of them tom...
