Re: Pitch Bend Range in Albino 3
There should be a pitch bend envelope in the midi clip of whatever daw your using, so u have to manually draw in the pitchbend with the envelope editormc wayne wrote:mc wayne wrote:I don't have a midi keyboard (yet) how can you do pitchbends in your daw? i use renoise. Thanks

Massive crashes DAW's...Solutions?
I am using Mac OSX Leopard (not Snow Leapard), and Massive makes Ableton crash after trying to browse through even a single preset. I have 3 gb of RAM so that shouldn't be an issue with one synth running...so now I'm trying to delete the database file under Users>You>Library>Application Support ...

Pitch Bend Range in Albino 3
Anyone know how to set the range of the pitch bend in Albino? I can't seem to find it...Also, my pitchbend wheel isn't being recognized by Albino (I'm using ableton as my host program). The Ableton midi indicator says there are midi messages being received on the pitchwheel, but not working in ...

Insane Live Improv Dubstep!
I never hear of EOTO getting talked about in the forum, so I thought I'd post some of their shit. These guys are unreal to watch live...mixing many genres together in their set, from dubstep to electro to house to dnb to reggae...all on the spot! All improvised and nothing pre-recorded, only various ...

Is Albino worth buying?
I'm currently using Reason 4 for all my bass sounds (rewired with ableton), and am wondering if switching to albino is worth the $179. Any thoughts? Can Albino make nastier sounds that Reason can't?

Re: Full tracks for feedback-- MARCH 2010
@continuumdnb - I listened to the first track in your sig, and i'm diggin the feel of the song, but overall, all of the synths sound kinda weak and lacking in power, I would use some ranchier sounding waveforms on your ocillators and eq them up so they are really big sounding. Also, the bass synths ...

New song i did, any feedback would be good :) thanks
Overall this is a pretty dope track, it could use some more backround effects for sure, just to keep it more interesting to listen too. Around 2:05 the mix feels kinda empty too, definately add some things ...

Re: FM8- How do I assign the LFO to the cutoff freq?
Any reason that it sounds out of phase with another wobble sound, even though all keysyncs and velocity follows are turned off on all operators?

Re: FM8- How do I assign the LFO to the cutoff freq?
Doing this only modulates the effect of the filter, not specifically the cutoff frequency...this is the problemjsills wrote:search for it, i think daft tnuc pasted screenshots. Z is the filter. route your operators thru Z and go to the mod window and turn up the lfo on Z

FM8- How do I assign the LFO to the cutoff freq?
I'm new to FM8 and was wondering if anyone could tell me exactly how to route the LFO rate to the cutoff frequency in the Z Operator? I can only seem to route it to modulate the volume of the entire Z operator, instead of just the cutoff. Any other tips on FM8 are much appreciated!
