All you have to do is wire the NNXT to the first note in the redrum.
drop the sample in there.
under where you put the sample.
there are 2 knobs where you can control where you can control where the sample starts and ends.
it will play on the '0' note in the redrum.

ohh and make sure you throw it ...

The Akai MPK49 is pretty fucking badassss, but pricey too.
its great for live and just studio performance.
but the m audio axiom 49 is just as legit and less expensive.

throw 2 subtractors into a combinator and manipulate both subtractors to get to the sound you want.
to make the bass even fatter throw in a equaliser, compressor, and you know all those other good effects reason has to offer

The software is only as good as you make it.
try them out both,depending on your style you might find fl to suit you more over reason or reason to suit you more over fl.
I use reason.
Most people prefer FL but reasons is just capable of SOOOO much more and anyone who uses reasons can tell you that ...
