if you cant qualify for uni (because of your grades or other reasons), look into a btec national certificate in music technology, leading to a diploma/degree in similar

it covers all the basics, and prepairs you for uni

I use Sunvox on the ipad to create chiptunes, it's a tracker similar to modplug, worth a look

MY 2nd real attemp at playing with dubstep, starting to get the hand of using different variable in sound, filters, bass etc. Starting to get the hang of reason now.

i feel your 'drop' is too late in the track, personally. the bass sits pretty loud in the mixdown and the other elements get kinda swept under the rug so to speak. i would like to see anything to take some of the focus off of the bass at least from time to time. perhaps a melodic element. also your...
