Really depends on what's happening...if I'm spinning dubstep after a dnb DJ i use a little 1 minute intro tool I made that's more atmospheric and not based so much on a beat. Allows me to start with any style and not lose a ton of momentum.

I really can't say enough good things about my stanton c.324s. They are really awesome units, but I'd only suggest them to bedroom DJs...I had a friend with a set that was used for house parties a lot and is kind of shot now. I get a different kind of buzz when I DJ than when I produce. Blending two tracks together in that perfect way is always awesome. I can see how DJs can live off that buzz alone. It's a bummer I can't, and it's a shame they have to produce to get anywhere now.
