Re: Ever met female Burial fans?

Once I met a couple of pretty girls at a party, offered them a lift home, once in the car I put a cd with some of my tunes and other things, mainly dmz stuff. As one of them realized I was playing some dubstep, she said: "wow that's cool, I like real dubstep, like burial or kode9". This wa...

Wow this is huge, I love the atmosphere, the persistent bass and the percussion sounds
I'll bag it for sure!
I wonder when it's going to see the light, any ideas?

Re: Tips for mastering an EP?

here's what I do when I need a simple "in the box" pseudo mastering: -export each tune without any dynamis effect or eq in the master bus. you're using those effects later since you have to master an EP, not a single tune, and you have to compare each tune with the overall sound. -open a n...

Re: hmm name change

keep the name, sounds really good to an italian listener/producer like me in italian in fact, "depone" is the 3rd person singular of the verb "deporre" that according to wordreference.com could mean: put down, lay down, cast down dethrone, upset, overthrow give testimoniation, te...

Re: Dropfellas - Like It Ep [NoMad Rec.]

Grandi!! Big up! Really like the beats! The first video is not the best i've seen (I'm sure it has some artistic meaning I'm not getting at all hehe), but the first half of the teaser one has the right atmosphere for me. Your past mixes were really appreciated by me and other friends around here in ...

@ Sir E Coke: put this up on youtube with a cut up & sync'd version of the video clip and you're going viral, sir. Maybe even to rival dubstep santa. Godspeed. :D: Try to give some feedback before posting your own tunes. It's likely you'll have some flames come your way. You and only you can pr...

Re: FINISHED TRACKS FOR FEEDBACK-- NOVEMBER 2010

@jfloyd wow i really like that track! the sound is professional and the structure is the right one to make you expect a good drop. the bass is deep and heavy (will listen to it tomorrow on proper speakers) and the mix is well balanced. when i heard the intro at first i thougt the sound wouldn't beco...

Re: FINISHED TRACKS FOR FEEDBACK-- NOVEMBER 2010

@wobbafet: I like it!! I really like this kind of atmosphere.. like the drum pattern and the snare is fat and powerful. the main synth/midbass sound is cool, but maybe it's a little bit repetitive even if it changes the pitch, just my first impression good work on the arpeggiator! like it mainly in ...
