To clarify, yes I meant my peaks are hitting at -3db. Mix doesn't sound weak to me at all at comparable volume. Was just concerned about the volume difference which, yeah, when all is said & done would probably be about 3db.

I'm currently making a 2-step garage-type dubby tune somewhat in the vein of 'Pangaea - Router'. I say somewhat because my drums & bass have a similar feel and style but I have more melodic elements and vocal samples going on in a slightly busier Flying Lotus kind of way rather than a Pangaea ...

I use Waves, PSP, Fxpansion BFD & Native Instruments plugs other than the Logic plugs...

Definitely CPU struggling a bit when I use BFD or NI instruments but no issues w/ effects plugs...

Yeah, I run Logic Pro 7 on my five-year-old G4 laptop w/ OS X 10.4.11, runs pretty well... Just need to use that freeze button militantly to conserve CPU as you add tracks & plugs...

OK, I've been listening to it over and over again for awhile now and I really think this is one of the most profoundly beautiful albums I have heard in many many years in any genre!!

I want to listen to it everywhere I go (and lord knows I've tried)...

But, in my opinion, it is introspective music ...
