Heaps of wicked ensembles on the user library check out the work of Dieter Zobel (I'm sure that's his name). The Widdler mentioned that he uses his stuff.

@Universeofenergy
Good ideas your intro was very short and I feel like you chucked everything at me, could have teased me a bit.
@Wobbafet
Sweet intro, could have brought the drums in earlier, I got a bit lost. The beat drops nice, good drumwork.

@Johnst Thanks for your feedback
Your doing really well for 3mths, keep it up. I thought the start sounded really good and then it took off somewhere else a bit cheesy. I'd work on keeping the melodies tight and not to extravagent. The mix needs attention you got a bit of panning going but sounds ...

Nice stabs! Hot vocal sample - really dig it. The first drop sounds good, but left me wanting more - made me want to listen on! Again hot vox. After the build up at 3:40 would have liked more of a change up, but the track is still well rounded esp with the vox coming back in ...

Re: First Time Building A Pc Need Some Help
I built a solid daw pc a few years ago and learnt the hard way, so imo:
- Yes get solid cooling but make sure you have a case with large diameter fans and a speed switch. You don't want a smaller fan with high speed (very bloody noisy), big diameter fans with slow speed = very quiet. For the cpu ...

Re: A stage of disillusion
My standard remedy for writers block:
Accept that your not in the 'zone' atm. Have a cuppa tea, go for a walk around a park etc. If your still not in the right headspace just leave your synths alone, go to the beach or recharge somewhere out in nature. Try to do things (outside of your studio ...

So what do you see as personal milestones? This isn't an 'achievement' thread. theres already one of those.
But what i'm interested in hearing is what planned milestones have you recently hit?
For me recently is was getting 40,000+ Plays on my soundcloud. One of my new uploads has had 5,000 ...

Go the fastest possible proccessor you can afford, i7 is the shit with at least 4gb ram. The 7200rpm hd is awesome if you use lots of audio files, means the computer can read/write faster. If your using heaps of vst's it's gonna chew cpu and the faster hd wont make it better.
