I'm running the Native Instruments Audio Kontrol 1 and I like it a lot. Great for live use as well.

Man I'm gonna be honest I hadn't even looked at this when I posted my Wu-tang remix on here earlier, turns out we used the exact same wording basically haha. Very nice Mash-up as well, I like it a lot

Re: Audio Latency and Sound Cards - ASIO
Not really sure if I'm answering your question correctly because I'm no genius in the technical side of things but I know I was having problems with audio drop-outs with my NI Audio Kontrol 1 caused by latency issues. All I had to do was update my graphics driver and it works perfectly now.

Re: massive lfo sync ratio not working??
If you're using ableton I'm pretty sure the sync rate in Massive just straight up does not work, you'll have to just work with it unsynced. I may be wrong but this is what I have heard from everyone who uses Massive in ableton.

Re: I dont know where to start, need some experienced help
Honestly it just takes time, I have been producing for about two years now and I would still consider myself a beginner, but I can definitely notice an improvement in my tunes...just keep at it, you've got the right idea with reading the production bible, that has helped me in ways I couldn't even ...

A pair of really good powerful speakers
You might want to consider sending this to CM, they would probably want you to do a producer masterclass.

1. bud
2. caffiene
3. cigs
This is basically the magical trio for me when first sitting down to start a new track, pretty unhealthy but hey it works for me!
oh and occasionally a bit of amphetamines can really keep me focused quite nicely as well (I'm prescribed)
