Re: how do people make their bass do so many things?
Alright mate, for that tune I just had one instance of massive loaded then bounced out different variations of a big reese I had made. From there I imported them onto separate audio tracks, with each audio track having a slightly different effects chain. Once I'd got the first 8 bars of the drop ...

Not sure what kind of thing you were after but you're welcome to use the tune in my sig, or anything else on my soundcloud for that matter

Re: Clubstep first attempt
sounding really good for a first attempt man, really like the organ type sound and the chord progression its doing. the drums sound good but the kick and snare sound like theyre in different spaces try applying the same compression and reverb to the drums to make them sound more together. the wobble ...

Re: Reccomended to work on many projects at once?
I don't see too much of a problem with it. I often find if I'm running out of steam with one track, if I start another then come back to it I'll find it easier to carry on. This may not happen for everyone, although there's only one way to find out I guess

Maschine iOS looks like it could be a lot of fun, however I couldn't bring myself to shell out for maschine when I've already paid for Battery 3.

Re: Jazzmutant Lemur vs. iPad and touchOSC?
Isn't the reason the lemur got discontinued in the first place that they knew nobody would buy one when they could just get an iPad and touchosc cheaper?

Re: Nicki Minaj Vs H3rmz Vs 12 Gauge - H3rmz Sh-ted on em
Sounding dark man, the tracks sound good together. Some of the bass noises in your track sound like they good do with a bit of eq to tighten them up, the really low bass note that plays under the wobbles just seems to muddy up the mix to me. Nice job altogether though mate, check out mine if you get ...

Re: Electric Drip - Darkest Place
Im liking the composition and the structure man, I quite like the pitched vocals and strange artifacts that have appeared with them. The dubstep breakdown is a nice idea but a lot of the sounds seem to just be nasty sounding for the sake of it. Overall its well produced though man, check out mine if ...

Re: CocoRosie - Smokey Taboo (illestrait DubStep Remix)
Wicked idea for a remix, bassline is good but sounding a little thin, same for the drums. Don't worry about these things at the moment though, your mixdown technique will come with time. The composition elements and track structure work really well. Keep at it man. http://soundcloud.com/steeze-1/i ...

Re: Most Annoying Sound In The World
Very fitting title man haha, some nicely produced sounds in here, it's a bit over the top at times though. The kick and snare sound a little flat, maybe try choosing samples with a little much snap to them and the chopped vocal samples at the beginning sound a bit awkward at times. Keep at it though ...

This is sick man, really tight production. Not much I can fault, personally I'd add in a section with some nice rolling percussion to help the bouncy vibe. CHeck out mine if you can Soundcloud

Re: You can't beat an orgasm
Loving the vibes man, vocal samples sounding good although the sexy sample good be made a bit subtle. Also the snare sounds a little dull try adding some more top end or layering it with a clap and a bit of reverb. Have a listen to mine if you get the chance, might not be your thing but itd mean a ...

Re: How do you know what to do?
I know it's probably not the answer you want to hear but it's all practice, stop worrying so much about whether your sounds are up to scratch with the pros, because after 5 months they probably wont be, just focus on making sounds you like to the best of your ability and try and write as much as you ...

Re: Writing techniques
I tend to start off just making a beat then have a play with synths or flick through samples until I hit something that inspires me enough to be able to picture how I want the whole track to sound in my head. I then do my best to recreate whats in my head, it never ends up exactly how I originally ...
