I'm not sure when this video was recorded, but very cool that he still uses an older version of FL Studio!

I'm not sure what DAW you're using, but the VST Gtune really helped me find the key or note of a sample. http://www.gvst.co.uk/gtune.htm

big ups Legen4ry! I love grabbing these random sampled packs from other people. Just seeing what samples they take from the song compared to what I would take is interesting to me.

I definitely agree with @Still Young. Take a break from that song and work on other projects. Forget about it for a long time. Come back to it when you "rediscover" it and you'll feel a lot better at it.

Re: Choking Hi Hats in Fruity Loops?
Listening to the song, it just sounds like the open hat is a short sample that is being played over the closed hats. If you can't find the right sample ASDR will help you out in that area in shortening up the sample.

Re: WIP Thread - GIVE FEEDBACK TO OTHERS BEFORE POSTING!!!
@CrowSteppa I really like the underlying synth that at the start of 14 seconds. Just like SM0R3S, I felt that the second drop was a bit messy, but like you said it was a rough idea. I could definitely see it being a cool drop, especially with that laugh on top. That definitely gave me some ideas fo...
