JBL LSR2325P, good first pair?

how would yall rate these, theyre inexpensive (200 USD a piece) and i only have about 400 USD to budget so it works there. i have a friend who is an engineer at berklee and swears by them over other monitors in that same price range (rokits, etc.) also what is the difference between balanced and unb...

Re: sending demos to labels which use "naughty" plugs..

sending demos to labels which use "naughty" plugs..

my friend was moaning the other day about how he wants to submit a bunch of demos to labels but is afraid to because all the plugins which supposedly "make his sound unique" were obtained without paying for them. i told him it was a bad idea to send tracks which use pirated software in any...

Re: Tuning your entire drum collection..

Tuning your entire drum collection..

This way when i start a new project, i can determine the key and throw va...

Re: the key of some samples...

if you load a sample that is in the key of G into a sampler, and play a D, for example, the result would be the sample played in the key of A. what you need to do is pitch shift that sample in G until it is in C, at which point playing a D on the keyboard will result in the sample being playing in ...
