Re: Not strictly Dubstep.. How to make this sound?
Thanks man, I had a go and this is what I came out with - Tried to mimic the song I posted before. (Sorry about the fucked up waveform, no EQ on this one)

Not strictly Dubstep.. How to make this sound?
This isn't really a question about dubstep, so I hope you guys don't mind.
I really like bassline wobbles, but am completely clueless on how to make them.
I use FL Studio and NI Masssive, just need some help!
The kind of sound I want to achieve is something like this -

Re: Why am I so terrible?
If you're not happy with what our doing, the most logical thing is to do something else or try to get better at it, right? Maybe there's something about the way that you approach production just isn't working. Maybe you're just not practicing enough to get proficient at it (how often do you produce ...

Why am I so terrible?
Hey there guys.
I've been using FL Studio for about 3 years, and now I guess you could say I know the DAW pretty well, but I just can't get the sounds I want! It's really starting to get annoying now, because I KNOW I have the knowledge, but I can't put it into practice.. I made a song a while back ...

Re: FL Studio Automation help?
Good point, but is there a less messy way to do it? I don't want tons of automation clips hogging my playlist, as I use it for placing my patterns too.. the part underneath ins't of any use to me..

FL Studio Automation help?
Hey there guys.
So, I basically know FL inside and out after playing around for a few years, and am starting to produce some good sounds.. For once. I just have one problem..
When you assign an automation clip for an instrument through the router (say a phaser) You assign the instrument to a ...

Re: Fruityloops is shat
I mean, I'm not big on here, but I know that FL isn't s**t. I have used the DAW since I've been making music, which has been about a year or so now. I havent got any tunes out, but I'm working on some projects now, and am only now starting to produce 'listenable' music as you might say.

Re: How to make this sound..
Ideal! Thanks very much
Just one more thing. In my mix, a wobble is overpowering the mix, as in, you can hear the volume changing because it is forcing the rest of the song down. I have tried using a limiter but it doesn't seem to do anything.. What can I do?
Cheers

How to make this sound..
Hey guys, I am going to sound like an idiot saying this, but here goes.
You know on the start of songs, when they build it up, there is that kind of whoosing sound. Like if you breath in and pull in heavier into your lungs until you can't anymore - I'm looking to make that sort of sound. Sorry for ...

Noob questions.. FL Studio
Right, basically I would like to achieve a certain sound but am unsure on how to do so - or what it may be called, so i'll explain it to you.
When you hear a sound, and it sounds like someone has messed around on an equalizer - and faded it out (kinda so it sounds like its in another room) so its ...

The rules of publishing?
Hey guys, just made a song and I am really happy with it. Just wondered what the rules are for releasing songs with samples taken from other songs in them? Because my song contains samples from; The Fugees - Ready or Not, and a small sample which you are probably all familiar with, from; Method Man ...
