Yeah, I get where you're coming from. It mostly bothers me in the beginning though.

The Voyage - "Cuts" (moody, glitchy)
This is not something I have produced, but someone I know.
Just wanted to share his (imo) dope tune and I wouldn't post it in Music/tunes as he's not signed.

Re: Looking for some chill sounds - can you help me?
Thanks a lot for all your suggestions!
Especially feeling Clubroot and Author so far, but can't wait to hear more tunes.
Went to a show last night and the sound was just awful, so I need buckets of well produced bass to revert my ears back to sonic bliss!

Looking for some chill sounds - can you help me?
Trying to find something with a lazy groove, mellow, but still with some bass to it. Kinda like elevator music meets dubstep. Anyone got any good names they wanna share? I'm thinking of stuff like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNwxN58ZM4U http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnqKZfDNXQg http://www.youtu...

Re: James Blake- Love What Happened Here EP (R&S)
[quote="slanguagei believe love what happened here has the same vibe as his earlier ep's but because everyone's heard it a million times because of the outkast harmonimix, its lost a bit of its sparkle. 'curbside' though, thats a riddim, i don't care what anyone says, but i guess I have a diffe...

Re: Harmonimix
can totally see why you thought that amy winehouse thing was a harmonimix, whoever made that... they're sort of stepping on Blake's tyle a bit... it's quite an obvious rip-off. then again, there's always the chance that the producer has never even heard of James Blake and it's just a coincedence. T...

Re: The early 2000 House !
I remember being 9 years old and thinking that my big brothers taste in music sucked, cause it was boring "boring" - except when he played Modjo - "Lady". There were just something about that track. Here I am, older, wiser and still in love with french house and now also alot of ...

burial/fourtet. hands down. +1 If you're into chill dubstep, Silkie and Harry Craze has got it going onnnn...They haven't made more than two tunes together (as far as I know, please correct me?), but they really should do more. It would result in world peace. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnqKZfDN...

Re: Jens Madsen - The Journey [Deep Vibes] (Need feedback)
Even though my headphones does it no justice at all, I gotta say I like the bass. The drums go hard too. That snare! I like the offbeat synth, but I'm not too keen on what you're doing with it in the last part. To me it sounds a little like you toss it around rythmically just to get some variation a...

Let's hope James Blake is up for this one.

Any good record shops in Camden?
So I'm going to Camden, London tomorrow and I was thinking if anyone could recommend some good record shops where I can find dubstep/bass music in general. (And dub, reggae and dancehall too if you happen to know any). Any suggestions? Cheers:) Edit: Finding record shops via google was easy of cours...

DSF is a great place to find new music. Of course you have to look a little for the gold threads, but when you find one full of interesting names you haven't heard of yet, it's awesome:)
