Thanks wormcode, i'll give the sampling method a try. I'll be sure to create multiple playlists as well as a "safe" track to avoid editing my the whole file, so i'll just be editing that particular region. Again thank you for the input, its much appreciated

I am new to producing my own music and i just had a quick question for a veteran, or anyone who creates dubstep for that matter. When creating your bassline is it more common to record/bounce individual samples then effect them and place them where you want or, just play the straight bassline on you...
