Re: Did you want SKRILLEX bass? well well well

For those who dont know Oli Sykes and his band is the MT EDEN of metal. The song played in the video is a remix by Tek One who are only famous for doing that song.Skrillex looks like the marilyn manson of "Enter genre here"

Re: Using Iphone to control logic ?

Yea you download software on the mac which connects to the iphone via wifi, from the videos on youtube it seems to respond amazingly well. Just not sure if its practical or just a gimmick

Re: Giving up my job to study Music tech at college.

Ive studied music technology at BTEC, it was so basic, learning the simplest of things, such as different cables, basic eq, compression. For 2 years i was there I came out with hardly any knowledge. Most of what i have learnt has been from watching youtube videos, reading on here and other forums, h...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for JULY, 2010

@mattyseizure i'm loving the sound design on this one, i think the drums are way lost behind that monster wob wob machine you got there... but the overall ambience is a winrar to me :e: Yea cheers for pointing that out, goes to show you need to give your ears a break when mixing. All a learning cur...

Re: Limiters and their uses

Ahhhh, so its like just keeping a cap on things? so would you use it whilst mastering? ive messed around with it trying to boost the volume up after i have done my mix. Is this correct? :S

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for JULY, 2010

@Charliefoy Good ambient intro, really like the drums when they come in. Gets a bit repetitive but as you said you are going to add some variation. But i like the direction this is going. @jemgrover I like the intro synth and the pads, maybe automate the pads to wobble a bit, not loads but just to ...

Re: Screen Shots! Get them out!!!

Yea ive done the Btec, doing a foundation degree, oh man biggest waste of my time ever, its like doing the btec year 1 again but having to do loads of essays on why you did this and that etc. Should have just st8 when to uni instead. Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for JULY, 2010

J 13 – Nine25 I loved this, so chilled out. I can’t fault this. The guitars playing off each other are really nice. I like where you are going with the synths at the end. Very nice man. Haack – Heathen Really like feel of this one, very dark. Good sound pallet. Really like the pad that comes in at 0...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for JULY, 2010

http://soundcloud.com/mattyseizure/the-end-of-now-work-in-progress This is my first song ive produced, using logic pro. May seem a tad repeatitive as I am waiting to record vocals for it, to add to it and still far far from finished. One thing is ive used a stereo spreader on the wobble and not sur...

BBE Sonic maximizer

Did a quick search on here, but nothing came up. Does anyone use this? If so what on? etc. Ive just had a play around using it in the mastering stage, got a good result but not to sure what I am doing.

Cheers
