I'm trying to decide between the Alesis M1Active 520's or the KRK Rokit Powered 6 Generation 2's, I don't know much about monitors, and I'm kind of on a budget. Also, is a subwoofer needed with these monitors? Or with any monitors for that matter..

In FL Studio..
1. Select the 3xOsc synthesizer.
2. Change the waveform to the 'noise' shape.
3. Put 3xOsc on a mixer track.
4. Add > Fruity Filter.
5. Select lowpass or bandpass.
6. Automate the cutoff filter.

I don't know if this has happened to anyone else. Whenever I'm producing or mixing or even playing Dubstep, and only Dubstep, my cats (3) come into my studio and listen. But whenever it's anything else (House, Drum and Bass, Hip Hop) they have no interest in it. Am I just tripping? Or do animals ...

After I watched those tutorials, I was able to make sounds in Massive pretty easily, it's a great tool to experiment with once you get it down
