Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for JULY, 2010
@jstick
now i remember. To add a little interest and make it a little dubbier maybe have a track that almost matches the envelopes on your synth (the filter/saturator sweeps) but like a really airy sound. Either some wind instrument or a even just white noise. Really I only imagine hearing this ...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for JULY, 2010
@4trak
The EQ seems way off. Way too bass heavy. I had to crank up my speakers and when the cowbell hit and broke the ceiling I almost shit myself.
@aftee
Uh, YES PLEASE! killer. At the end of the bass loop it sounds like you hit some off key notes. Only gripe.

@bass_killa
the cleaned up version much improved over the original. It sounds to me like you are using only samples for your melody. Thus, to me atleast, it sounds uninspiring. But hey, to each their own. I'm certainly no expert, but I feel musicians should be able to make their own sounds before ...

Hard not to like these chills beats. Really like that people are heading towards the more melodic spectrum of Dubstep these days.

@ JBE
I've got a lot to learn from peeps like you! So much work put into your drum tracks and it shows. Love the section where you play with brakes and breaks. I would prefer if the main synth you use had a rougher tone to it. Maybe had a second oscillator that has a slightly longer attack than the ...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for JULY, 2010
Sounds painful. The snare, or whatever that is damn near tore out my eardrums. It's got some nice sounds going there, but it's kind of repetitive and a bit bland outside of the bass.
HA! I appreciate the honesty. How can I improve the snare? Is it just too loud? Or is the frequecy off?
I'll ...

Wow. You got skills. Tracks sound really clean. What DAW are you using?
The last track, Counting, I kept waiting for the drop and it never came. Is that on purpose? After listening to the first 2 songs I was expecting DROP!

@NICORISONE
Cool track but i'm not really digging the synth you use (the one that opens the track); sounds kinda cheesy to me.
@mindcontrol
I want more! Why only 41 seconds? Sounds real good.
