Yes, that is possible. I have a "shift" button in the mapping I use for my VCI-100; essentially, whenever I hold down the shift button, any other button I press will have a different function. However, I couldn't tell you how to do this myself, since I did not create my own mapping.

I make mostly party-oriented, dancey dubstep (but not really of the "brostep" variety) although sometimes I go a bit deeper.

I'm curious, because I've never been to a dubstep-only night, really only to electro & house nights with a dubstep side room or a dubstepper playing alongside electro & house DJs in the main room.

So what's a dubstep party like? What do you see when you walk in? Are people really dancing or more ...

Fair point. I used to think like this. Not every MC is like that tho. They are there to bring hype, communicate with the crowd and to add a sort of human touch to the music. Some just can't do it and assume that the whole set is about them, others realize that they are there to compliment the music ...

Nice, I wish the guitars were in there, though. I guess I was hoping for less of a dub version and something more faithful to the original, more of an edit than a remix. Good work all the same!
