Re: Electro Pop + Dubstep Break, tempo change needed?

I normally don't sign in to this random account I made; I usually just creep the forums signed off, but I really wanted to give some feedback on this track :) I'm loving this tune so far, it keeps things really simple and clean which is perfect for electro pop obviously. I would not change the break ...

Re: IS Dubstep losing its momentum?

drumstep seriously needs to lick my sack and die, worst music ever created. unoriginal bass sounds with equally unoriginal drum and bass beats, combines the worst parts of the two genres. what makes it even worse is that brostep fans think jump up is drumstep, makes me want to be sick. also brostep ...

Re: Final Fantasy XIV

8 = Great game, but wasn't a fan of the 'draw' system and Squall was cringing for most parts. Everything else was great tho.
10 = Good game. No world map.

Tidus > Squall in the cringeworthy stakes.

I enjoyed X-2 even though it was much easier than X, those dress spheres were a fun idea ...

Final Fantasy XIV

Anyone excited? I've taken a break from MMOs for the past half a year, but looking at this game last night and seeing how close to release it is, I might go preorder it today :) The soundtrack is phenomenal as usual!

Re: Secret Ninja Movie Club (aka what have you watched lately)

I'm tempted to go watch Scott Pilgrim again before it dissapears out cinemas. I must have liked it more than I thought.

That's the only one in our theatre that I haven't seen. Judging by the previews I thought it would be dumb, but every time I walk in, it looks like my kind of movie! Especially ...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for SEPTEMBER, 2010

@Remokari: No problemo :)

@CBK81: Heavy man, that sounds awesome!

@Olux: Thank you very much for the critique! Yeah I liked having a nice airy vibe to it, and to stick to the spooky factor, I didn't add much sub at all. With the feedback I've gotten on this forum, I might just have to change my ...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for SEPTEMBER, 2010

I hope you all don't mind, but I'd like to share this track here. (I've posted it in the finished section as well.) I feel like it's still a work-in-progress type of tune, so I'd like to get as much feedback as I can. I'll be very open towards criticism, thanks for listening. :)

I think this ...

Re: Excision - Shambhala 2010 Dubstep Mix

Listenin' now and I gotta say that (I'm sorry!) it feels a little dry. Like it feels empty to me, big fan of your other stuff though :e: This just wasn't for me, but eh maybe it'll grow on me. Take care!

EDIT*: Almost forgot to mention! The intro was AWESOME! Oh and listening further into the mix ...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for SEPTEMBER, 2010

SpookMusic - I like the drums, nice work. the feeling and the image of the tune is nice and dark. the drop isnt for me but apart from that its not bad :p

Thank you for your feedback! :D As far as the drop goes, I went with what I liked rather than the standard drops you hear in many songs, by ...

Re: Spook - One [SAMPLE]

Thanks a lot man! Yeah I've definitely been thinking about adding a sub, but then again, I feel like more presence and less bass (LESS BASS IN DUBSTEP WHAAAAAAAA?!) makes it more eerie ya know? Heh I looove ghosties and creepy stuff inspires me the most :)

Re: Secret Ninja Movie Club (aka what have you watched lately)

Just saw 'The Informant' the other day, it was a great comedy that actually makes you think about every line, an intelligent flow reminiscent of 'Burn After Reading' :D Matt Damon played a great part and I'm not a big fan of him, so big ups!

Also since I work at a movie theatre, I have to see like ...

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for SEPTEMBER, 2010

@Olux: I love where you're going with this man! The bass to me is an auditory embodiment of Thin Mint cookies (crisp, mint, and just plain delicious)

@JD_LEGION: As I said on SoundCloud I love your track, it sounds chill yet heavy ;D REALLY clean, very nice work!

My first dubstep tune! It's a WIP, but there's a lot of content to (hopefully) enjoy :e:
