Re: Do you "plan" a track before creating it?
I'm sure some people plan out the way they want a track to sound but you don't always need to. Most times I choose a key i wanna work in and just go with the flow of it, make stuff that sounds pleasing to the ear.

Re: Is originality dying?
No, its not. Is producing music becoming more popular? yes. Do these people have the gift to make music? no.
just because some one has all the tools and the knowledge does not mean they can create a piece of wonderful, original music.
imo.
This. No originality is not dying its just that much ...

Re: Tips on more brutal/thick tracks?
Synths = Dimension Expander (but not too much) in Massive and mess around with the envelope.
Plugins = Camelphat, boost mecha slightly to 5%
Drums = transient shaper, occasional slight camelphat mecha, adaptive limiter

Re: Something very rude some soundcloud users do.
Lol, I used to get pissed off like OP when those fools making techno would follow me and then unfollow me 2 hours later...that shit happens everyday though. People unfollow people all the time.
I guess its understandable if you want people to know about your music from doing the mass-follow thing ...

Re: Possibly a bad idea
i guess its cool when labels give you feedback to improve on for future tracks in case you did want to send sooner or later. but for some of them if you go on their website they usually have the a&r people's screen names.
being on a label with all the hype and shit seems like merely an ego boost ...
