Re: Skrillex has got me all giddy & I can’t sit still...
I totally agree. To get back on Skrillex... There's no groove, there's no soul. It certainly doesn't get anyone dancing. It's just noise after a while
Ok I'm fine with people having differing opinions and I'm not even really that into Skrillex, but to say that it doesn't get anyone dancing is a ...

Re: what exactly is "brostep"

There's alot of other shit going on that's being highlighted, de-emphasizing the sub-bass. But its there. And oftentimes, its ...

Gen, I didnt really type it correctly but what i was impliying was that the mid range dubstep is produced by a higher number of people, not quality in production.

Re: Working on just drums for a long time...
It's what I've been doing for about 6 months.
Youve been working on the same drum loop for six months? :L
Just kidding, yeah nah Rusko said if your drums sound good enough to listen to over and over then your already halfway there In one of the production masterclasses. Plus its the whole ...

Re: what exactly is "brostep"
Its a term used by a lot of long term users of this forum and listeners of dubstep that have been around when the dubstep scene was underground, they cant stand the Midrange bass sounds that is far more popular globally. Alot of the people on this forum are used to low end bass, which in fairness ...

So theres alot of talk on the forum at the moment about copyright and sampling. Heres my question.
Is there a way to sample an artist while just keeping a certain element of the song? i.e. Say i wanted to have someones vocals in one of my songs without say Drums or bass, Is this possible? I ...

Re: Bass Problems
it may be worth noting that subtractor's LFO is not able to be synced to key (or retrig, watever u call it when the LFO wavecycle triggers with MIDI instead of freely oscillating)
You may be better off routing the CV out from maelstrom or thor's LFO to subtractor's filter freq, and combine it ...
