Re: Dub Reggae Drumming 140 BPM

My e-mail is jonholisko@hotmail.com if you're seriously interested!
I record through a few different preamps - a presonus firestudio, presonus tube preamp, and a couple other toys when i get the chance. I use Logic to mix and edit. Thanks again for the positive feedback!

Re: Logic 9 Adaptive limiter

The stock Limiter's in Logic are NOT ideal for the being put on your stereo output because they severely affect the low end and muddy things up a lot. It's such a nice easy way to bring up the volume that it's very tempting to use, but you will notice a HUGE difference between using a limiter and ...

Re: Buying monitors

in my opinion, the yorkville equivalent to the krk rokits, which are the ysm2p's, sound a little nicer.

Re: Best small/medium monitors.

I have Yorkville YSM2P's and i love them. You might want to get the matching sub if you get them, but they do monitor the sub decently for thier size.

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for DECEMBER, 2010

Aight i want some hardcore feedback on this track please.
Been working on it for a while and still don't feel like it's there.....one of THOSE tracks...
I'm still iffy on some of the "wobble" synths.... they're pretty crunchy. Lemme know how they sound to your ears. Thanks :t:

Re: WORKS-IN-PROGRESS for DECEMBER, 2010

yeah i really like the spaciness of the first minute, i'd leave the sub bass alone for that, but after about a minute try bringing in a new layer that's more mid range....do u have massive? i'm an es2 guy but i love some of the sounds u can get with massive. even just a "reese" style bass would work ...
