Na haha i really don't know what I'm doing with it, cubase 5, the thing is i'm really not into the bro step stuff i wanna make like more chilled out stuff like martyn, joy orbison, james blake , phalelah ect, i heard the synths that come on reason are not really suited to that. I really have no clue ...

ah cheers it's just all such a steep learning curve, really confusing, but I bet it will give me allot of satisfaction once I'v mastered a DAW !

I think cubase would suit me the best, i just find it hard to find tutorials, anyone know someone with a good youtube channels who actually produces music on cubase and has some tutorials ?

Well I play the guitar, and drums aswell, and am into like other genres of music aside from drum and bass, so using cubase would be good for recording guitar and drums, also I feel like reason is abit of a cheap program, dunno just the impression i'v been given. I don't hear of many big producers ...

Sorry if there has already been a thread like this but I'm new to the production thing, I have recently started using reason. I really like the rack set up of it but find the lack of being able to sample vocal samples and other samples easily really limiting. I have heard about being able to rewire ...

Cubase Vst's
I was just wondering which Vst's you use with cubase to make your dubstep ? I am abit of a noob when it comes to cubase , i havnt used it since i did gcse music about 6 years ago :/. I have heard battery 3 is a good vst for making the drums with ?
