Nice submission! Like the quotes and the main lead, very high energy!
I uploaded mine...though I realized after I uploaded that it clips in a couple of places...easy fix, but ...

Getting your stuff heard for the first time is probably the hardest thing you’ll have to do as an artist. It’s not an uphill struggle. It’s a vertical climb (with lots of overhangs, and no safety rope). You’re fucked basically.

Re: Producers paranoia!
One of the best things about FL is the proprietary ZLP format. Use that, burn it to DVD/Bluray/20 CDs etc and give a copy of them to a friend. ZLP is a zip file which will retain all the samples and the project file. Then it's just a matter of keeping the same plugins installed, which you should ...

Re: @ the lurkers
I am still quite the lurker. I like to visit this forum on a regular basis and I will probably contribute more to ongoing topics once I feel more competent in production with regards to dubstep. I refrain from making new topics as I know this forum is plagued by the same repeated handful of ...

Re: Technical Knowledge vs. Imagination
To me the technical skills provide a set of tools. However, these tools tend to shift the direction of my imagination in new and different ways. Unfortunately my brain does not think in terms of things like oscillators, eq, and filters when an idea is first conceived in my head (I give props to ...

Re: Custom PC - price/spec discussion...
I bought a new custom pc recently and what I am noticing is that most new mobo's that support i5/i7 sandy bridge are coming standard with integrated usb 3.0 which is quite fast. I wonder if audio interfaces will keep up with this shift and start taking full advantage of that tech or stay in the usb ...

Re: you want to be loud?
That is the greatest invention ever! OMG, and for $99? THAT is a steal! I intend to put one on every mixer channel...then maybe several on my master, that way my radar loudness monitoring will be unmatched!!

Re: Corrupted .Flp file? help
This has happened to me before so I know the pain. Unfortunately it was legit corrupted and my only option was to just start over. The lesson I learned from the experience: Save a new version of your project file every few changes so that in case you have to rollback to an earlier version it wont be ...

Re: Do I have a chance to learn or am I too old?
You are definitely not too old to start learning. Nobody here can say whether or not you have a chance to make good music...that is all up to you man. If you have the passion and dedication to deal with the frustration (which you say you are already facing) and keep going then you can do anything ...
