If i were to split my kik bus into 3 diff frequency bands...what would they be?
I understand that it really depends on the kiks involved etc but i'd like to know if there are generally any good starting points for frequency bands for my multiband compressors.

Thanks for the responses guys. Skimpi what's another song with that sound in it? I'm not talking about the classic dutch lead sound i'm talking about the smoother sound under Ne-Yo in the song.

thanks didn't realize. I feel like there's more to the sound then just pitchbending. It doesn't just sound like a saw to me either.

If you use a linear phase eq like the waves broadband lin eq to split the frequencies wouldn't you not have to worry about phase problems? or at least worry less?

Anyways, everyone always talks about resampling and i'm getting into it and really love it BUT when i resample i like to make a whole instrument out of it with 4 or 5 octaves sampled that way i can use it as a polyphonic sound if i want. Obviously doing this manually takes a long time...i'm sure ...
