Generally: If i were to split my kik bus into 3 diff freqs

If i were to split my kik bus into 3 diff frequency bands...what would they be?

I understand that it really depends on the kiks involved etc but i'd like to know if there are generally any good starting points for frequency bands for my multiband compressors.

Thanks much!!!

Thanks for the responses guys. Skimpi what's another song with that sound in it? I'm not talking about the classic dutch lead sound i'm talking about the smoother sound under Ne-Yo in the song.

Is there a good forum online for Prog House production?

I know this isn't the forum to ask that question and I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a forum i ...

Re: Frequency splitting FAQ

If you use a linear phase eq like the waves broadband lin eq to split the frequencies wouldn't you not have to worry about phase problems? or at least worry less?

What is Your method for quickly/easily resampling your sound

Anyways, everyone always talks about resampling and i'm getting into it and really love it BUT when i resample i like to make a whole instrument out of it with 4 or 5 octaves sampled that way i can use it as a polyphonic sound if i want. Obviously doing this manually takes a long time...i'm sure ...
