What up i know porter robinson is no dubstepper himself but alot of recent producers have been glitching out there tracks from all sorts of genre's with this unwinding bass sound i cant fully grasp. if any producers who know what there doing could help explain this a little more in depth for me that...

I have been working with massive for a little now and am getting the hang of it pretty well, i am trying to get a real gritty sounding bass ( almost like tremolo guitar picking) for a part in my song. I couldn't really find to much of a better idea of what i am trying to get a other then this track....

i had good results with this... i also added an instance of bifilter in middle of the processing chain, vintage warmer at the end, then slammed it thru the waves L3. since were all skrillexed out in this thread i have a question for ANY PRODUCERS who know what there doing when writting a track. how...

does anyone write there basses in a sequence like 8 bars or 16 bars then once its the rhythm you like just resample all of it at once ? or should i break it down and resample each seperate bass wobble/sound as i go?
