in my opinion there are a lot of factors to consider!
First things!! the arrange !!!if you don't have a good arrange (aka all your sounds need to be placed in a determinated range of freq.) your tune is never coming out phat!!
dynamics!!! to bring up your master meter on levels like -9 /-7 rms ...

Something good like the compressor for the sidechain it's work great for me, exs24 is cool i love the tapedelay and the stereo delay too, the overdrive and the bitcruscer smash in good way, other thing sucks like the reverbs (exept for the spacedesigner) sounds all like a metal room i don't like ...

DON'T BUY the korg nano!!! I've buyed it and after a while some button start to not work, same things appens to other 3 friends, if you can buy the akay series is pretty the same controller as the nano but they work better, as the same price you get something better, i've buy one to my girlfriend 1 ...

try to use real snare sample, compress it and add big gated classics reverbs like lexicon and alesis midiverb
