the offset layering is wat i was missing.. how many layers would a snare/ clap like that have? ussually ill have 3 layered snares

hm.. i guess stock fruity loop samples just wont cut it anymore
tho y pay for samples if u have a mic
a good mic and sum sticks is wat i need

first of all before diving into the world of dub, u need to know wats good dub and wats bad dub..cuz the dub uve seen so far is good but u need to look at sum of the main big hitters of dubstep b4 u get lost in santa dubs and mt eden.. listen to sum essential mixes.. of course shambula 2010.. or ...

this actually helps out alot, thanks.. esp working with e f g cuz i noticed once u start goin down towards c it starts getting a little too low for even my 15s to handle.. and the handle down to 25 hz.. but i dont really have much sub when producing except for wats in my head phones.. my mixing ...

Whats the best note range to work with in bass lines?
im pretty new to the forum and producing and instead of searching and searching i thought ide ask.. wat are the best note ranges or frequencies to work with when making a bass line? i guess my real question is how low is too low or how high is too high of a frequency to still sound good in subs?
