Re: Deep Feelings - Kimera [Dubstep]
Focussed the snares and picked out what what sucking up their attack.
Lowered the other elements so the lead sits better.
Thanks for the help.

Long time no posting!
A bit of fun. I liked where this was going so started fleshing it out and tweaking.

Re: Paradigm "The Final Destruction (fearless)" (dubstep met
Brostep takes its roots from metal/modern hardcore, so let's see how this goes...
Nice deep sub, always good.
As a hardcore producer, this is a bit odd. Straight sampled sounding double kicks and snares sound a little odd. The kick is also sitting a bit strangely in the mix. It sounds like ...

Vocal sample and chord stabs are in different keys. Which may or may not be the intention.
Some great sounding elements for dark dubstep. I'm loving the vibes. Nice and dark.

Dude, my stuff straight out of the studio is still mixed!
I like the lead synths and the chromatic descending bits. Some nice sounding elements. It needs a strong, melodic mid range element like a vocal to finish it off however. The mix also needs a lot of work.
Post it up again when you've EQed ...

I've always loved your stuff mate so I'm happy to give feedback.
Send that chimey main synth to a secondary channel, spread it and reverb it so you have a bit more depth to the track.
The pulsey bass is lovely.
So is the flute.
Percussion is fantastic as is. It just begs to 'open up'. It all ...

Something I've been working on for a little while. There are a few things that need tweaking and then it needs finishing, but this captures the general vibe. Let me know what you think.

Then feedback you shall have! But I'll suggest posting some feedback to others. Share the love. If everyone gives, then everyone gets.
I won't criticise your mix in that case.

Re: Paradigm "The Human Element" (heavy melodic dubstep)
It's been a while man.
And dayum, you've come a ways. This is good stuff.
I like the intro, it's really well mixed. Sounds great.
The vocal's a nice touch.

Re: John.D - Basswave [awful, awful music]
Thanks guys.
As soon as I've got the vocals tracked it will be a complete track.
If you are wondering how I got the trumpet samples, it's sampletank free from IK multimedia. I just played the chords I wanted, ran them through some saturation and EQ plugins, bounced them down, and cut them up ...

Re: John.D - Basswave [awful, awful music]
Nope, my little EP was pure chilled music. Also quite poorly produced by my current standards. This is part of a project in the works though. Aiming for completion by the end of the year and release sometime after.

I know what you mean. I recently finished a computer build that gives me enough power to run everything without any processing hangups. My projects have jumped in quality now that I can mix realtime.

Re: KillerKat's Play It (WIP)
Thought I'd return the favour.
The intro reminds me of the final countdown. I kinda like it.
The drop is HUGE. I'm getting a really prominent bass which is always good. Just be sure to check the levels and keep it constant because at very low frequencies the volume difference between bass notes ...

Thanks mate.
Sure do. Gradually learning how to get a decent sound. It's sounding alright but there's still so much to learn. This is a very rough mix though, as it is not close to completion.

Re: Who's in my league? Looking to collaborate with a badass
Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it.
I love heavy drumming!
About the mids, I feel similar, I'm very melodic, my bass is usually quite one dimensional.
What you might call brostep from time to time.
I like my synths to cut all the way through the mix, and in this case they are sort of ...

If you're looking for collaborators, I think there's a society called 'Skrillex synth youtube tutorial users anonymous'.
Jokes aside, nicely produced. Big sound. The snare is nice and big, and the kick is JUST prominent enough. I'd almost go to say there are too many midrange elements. I think the ...

One question, where do you get the Asian string sounds from?
Once again, lovely wet claps, lovely overall vibe. Your music speaks to me man, The Floods is on repeat quite frequently.
I would split this into two tracks through, one for the time stretch, and one for the first half.
Delicious.

Re: Very garagey dubstep
I'm not sure about the bass sound. It could use a bit more weight. They both sound a little weak.
I love the drum beat though, that garage influenced swagger. It makes the track. Nice stuff man. That clap could use a bit more sparkle in the treble region. I like the snare though. It could use a big ...
