i have a try yesterday on synthmaker it works but send to much time the same note ( i cant find a box that send the imput to the output only when value has changed ) but it seems you make it ! could i see your shematics?

yes the tascam is know for that kind of unplayable latency. asio4all could help sometimes, but native drivers are better as you sayd. At my opinion, all usb or firewire soundcards are not serious and this at any prices. A simple pci sound card like the m-audio delta44 work at 1 ms latency here at 44...
