I would say its more useful for a live performance / remix. Other than that you can use Glitch and get similar effects for free but what do I know.

OP try turning the Env 4 decay all the way up. That might help with the volume dipping.

I have a pair of em and they sound great. The bass is nice but as mentioned earlier cuts off a bit early but its still manageable. Just use a freq analyzer or whatever to get the sub levels right.
